Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg at any time.
Day 2 Graskop (B)
Travel through a fascinating landscape complete with mountains, panoramic passes, valleys and waterfalls.
Day 3-4 Manyeleti Game Reserve (2B,2L,2D)
Cross the large expanse of the Lowveld, South Africa's low-lying grassland and woodland region, taking some time to explore world famous sites like Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, and God's Window. Sharing an open border with the famous Kruger National Park, the Manyeleti Game Reserve is a great location to search for some fantastic wildlife, such as elephants, lions, zebra, buffalo, in addition to the incredible bird-life. Here you will also have some free time to visit a community school project in a local village.
Day 5 Kruger National Park (B)
The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Enjoy a full-day game viewing in our air-conditioned touring vehicle, where you can spot the "Big 5".
Day 6-7 Swaziland (2B,2D)
Embark on an open-vehicle morning game drive in Kruger before entering the Swaziland, and heading for Hlane Game Sanctuary. Enjoy a game drive and a morning bush walk. There will be time for optional activities as well!
Day 8 Zululand (B,D)
Journey into the Zululand area, one of South Africa’s most diverse natural regions. Visit a local Zulu village for more insight into the heritage and culture of the Zulu nation, and spend the night in one of the traditional, ethnic huts, the outside of which resembles the different tribal people of Southern Africa.
Day 9 St. Lucia (B)
Enjoy a boat cruise on the St. Lucia Estuary to view the area’s wetlands and its resident hippos and crocodiles. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 10 Southern Drakensberg Mountains (B,D)
Journey inland to the foothills of the Drakensberg mountain range, where we continue our journey up the Sani Pass, a snaking mountainous road only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. Partake in a drink at the highest pub in Africa, and spend the night atop this mountain reveling in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 11-12 Northern Drakensberg (2B,2D)
Wind your way down the Sani Pass in the morning and head for the northern Drakensberg region. Spend Day 12 enjoying an optional activity such as horseriding, abseiling, visiting a cultural village or the famous Drakensberg Boys Choir.
Day 13 Johannesburg (B)
Crossing the agricultural region of the Highveld, head to Johannesburg for a final evening together.
