Day 1 Arrive Lima
Arrive in Lima at any time.
Day 2-3 Cuzco
Take an early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco. In Cuzco relax or explore the nearby Inca ruins, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and churches.
Day 4 Ollantaytambo
Travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley to Pisac and the picturesque town and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo.
Day 5-8 Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (3B, 3L, 3D)
Begin a once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas with a morning trip to km 82, where our hike starts. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free. Fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day we climb the steps to Intipunku, the 'Sun Gate', to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. In the afternoon of Day 8 we head back to Cuzco by train to celebrate.
Day 9 Cuzco
Relax and explore the sights and sounds of Cuzco, or spend the day rafting or mountain biking on this free day.
Day 10 Puno
Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside as we travel through the high Altiplano region between Cuzco and Puno.
Day 11-12 Lake Titicaca / Taquile Island (L,D,B)
Embark on a boat trip to visit the Uros people and Taquile island. Immerse yourself in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small local village.
Day 13 La Paz
Journey along the shores of Titicaca and through mountains on the impressive scenic trip to the highest capital city in the world - La Paz, Bolivia. The liveliness and bustle of more than a million Bolivians is an unforgettable experience.
Day 14 Tiahuanaco / La Paz
The mysterious Tiahuanaco people constructed the great ceremonial centre on the southern shore of Lake Titicaca over 1000 years ago. Spend most of the day visiting these fantastic ruins and try to unravel the ancient mystery yourself.
Day 15 Depart La Paz
